Welcome Hazel Annie Mackedon

Hazel Annie made her world debut today. Compared to her brother's enterance this was a piece of cake (at least for me). She is beautiful and perfect in every way.

I know this picture is a bit graphic but I love all the faces when we realized it was a GIRL!!! Mel had us all convinced it was going to be a boy that we were completely surprised and thrilled.

We were shocked to wake up to snow this morning. Marcus, Maleen, and I stayed at my Mom's while Nathan was at the Pharmacy Fair in Pocatello. I had to dash home to get Marcus's winter coat for school.

How Amazing...

Words can't express how amazing it is to have someone trust you to parent their precious child. We are so happy to have Maleen finally home. We didn't have to wait long but it seemed like an eternity. We are so in love. Marcus monitors her closely and finally got up the courage to hold her. He took it very seriously. Nathan had a hard time sharing her with anyone else and I am just so happy to be with my whole family. Thank you for all of your prayers!

I'm on my way...

I found out this morning at 7:30 am that we have ICPC clearance to take Maleen from Alabama to Nevada. Hurray!!! I think adoption is a lot like child birth, after the fact you only remember the good parts. I don't remember Marcus's adoption being this stressful. When I mentioned this to my sister she reminded me of all the glitches we had. I think it is good you only remember how amazing it is or you would never do it again. Anyway me and my mom are leaving at 4:45 am. Nathan can't go because ROTATIONS SUCK!!! I should have Maleen in my arms by 5:30 pm Alabama time. Keep us in your prayers.

2008 Summer Olympic Games

I am completely obsessed with the Olympics. Right now I am totally into swimming and in LOVE with Michael Phelps (me and the rest of the world). Lats night's 4 x 100 relay was amazing. I was literally yelling at the TV.

1st Annual George R. Tucker, Sr. Family Reunion
