I quit....
That's right I quit my job. I am now a full time Mom. Mel tells me I have very unrealistic expectations of what life as a Mom is like. My first week home was pretty GREAT. What is better then a fun day with cousins playing dress up. It may be hard to believe what with the harlot robes but they were actually playing Star Wars.
Memorial Day
The first trip to Twin Lakes is always a little sketchy. This year the hot water heater wasn't working, which to use girls was no big deal. We all like to go down to the showers because we can all get done at about the same time, pluse the water pressure is way better. But my Dad, who is great at a lot of things but being a handyman is not one of them, decided to spend the entire day on Saturday trying to fix it. Needless to at the end of the day we still had no hot water (come to find out it only needed a new thermostat). We all love him for trying. The babies had a great time having a warm bath in the sink.
The boys had a GREAT time swimming (despite the fact that it never got above 60 and the lake is beyond freezing), playing in the mud, feeding peanuts to the birds and driving us all crazy with squirt guns. Trust me this picture of them all sitting still lasted only moments before they were off again.
Maleen LOVED her first piece of red vine.
