Diagnosis...

Croup and Pink Eye. That is what we learned Maleen had last Wednesday night when we rushed her to the hospital because she could barley breath and had massive amounts of green goop coming out of her eyes. They rushed her into the trauma room and stripped her down (I was trying to be careful but apparently was not moving fast enough for the nurses and doctors)within about 10 minutes of our arrival and within 15 minutes they had started breathing treatments and were getting ready to give her a steroid shot. After several hours of observation we came home. She is still hacking (which apparently could go on for several weeks) and being treated for the pink eye. We are so lucky it wasn't something more serious because this almost gave me a nervous breakdown.

That Hair!!!

Maleen has very long hair on the top of her head. Which,I must say, looks pretty dang cute in a ponytail but it is not that easy to put a pony in a very wiggly four-month-olds hair.

Flower Power

Nathan thinks Maleen's flower hat is ridiculous. I think it is sweet.

Christmas '08

We had an amazing Christmas. We slept over at my parent's house for three days. I know this seems crazy when we only live 2 miles away but all of my three of my little sisters were home from Utah and I didn't want to miss anything. We ate good food, played a lot of games, and just hung out.

Welcome Hazel Annie Mackedon

Hazel Annie made her world debut today. Compared to her brother's enterance this was a piece of cake (at least for me). She is beautiful and perfect in every way.

I know this picture is a bit graphic but I love all the faces when we realized it was a GIRL!!! Mel had us all convinced it was going to be a boy that we were completely surprised and thrilled.

Snow in October

We were shocked to wake up to snow this morning. Marcus, Maleen, and I stayed at my Mom's while Nathan was at the Pharmacy Fair in Pocatello. I had to dash home to get Marcus's winter coat for school.

Isn't she lovely
